XJTLU undergraduate students earn two degrees: an XJTLU degree recognised by the Chinese Ministry of Education and a globally respected University of Liverpool degree.
Knowledge and skills
By the time you graduate from the BEng Electronic Science and Technology programme, you will have:
- extensive experience in modelling and analytical methods
- the ability to design an electronic or optoelectronic system, component or process based on initial requirements and constraints
- the skills to use IT tools and computer-aided design (CAD) systems for modelling, analysis, simulation and design
- the ability to design and fabricate integrated circuit chips or optoelectronic or photonic devices.
This programme will help you understand micro- & nano-fabrication using state-of-the-art technology and facilities in cleanrooms. You will also learn design rules and methodology for IC designs drawn on graph paper with a stipulated scale and drawn using professional software.
